The outrageous notice soliciting for PEG funds...
by Arcata City Council candidate Dex Anderson

The little notice towards the back of Eye soliciting for funds is outrageous. It is propagated as a fait accomplai' that this has been a legal decision. What a "progressive" tactic: Use one Amy Goodman on multiple media played multiple times to censor the rest of Diversity. Similarly the City Council forums are multiply broadcast instead of more, different forums/debates. This is part of why I have the Catch 22 of proving an infinity about being able to perform on technicalities of administering government...the story of the thinking, censored man sob sob :), so explain this tactic?

That media group (Web facilitator's note: Which states in the first paragraph of its front web page that interested people should "Watch FSTV on your own satellite receiver!") is painted as nice and progressive but it takes the heat off of why there is so little on APEG, why it is filled with nothing hours/community calendar, how other good people are censored, and how the pass-through funds are skived off. Guess they better call me a conspiracy theorist and censor me as not speaking English by playing dumb in the U Community of higher educs? Note there are no more plays of the Council "Intros" (I did better than they thought??), and no more scheduled in the near future for development talks, debates, whatever. This sucks.

The arrogance of this.

Off to waterpolo,

Dex
